Horse racing might be called "The Sport of Kings" but we see horse racing as the one sport where anyone can own their own sports franchise. And, with Thorough Crowd, shares start as low as $100, so there's no reason not to get involved.
Our goal with Thorough Crowd is bigger than just winning races. We want to let everyone be a part of the sport we love, and really get to know some of these magnificent athletes that make this sport go.
How We're Different
While most Thoroughbred partnerships charge exorbitant management fees or charge investors 3-4 times what they paid for horses, we choose to keep things honest and transparent with no ridiculous markups or excessive fees. Here's how we operate:
- 1 We keep the horse's best interest in mind.
- 2 We focus on racing and breeding success. Since 2019 we have regularly won close to 20% of our starts with over 50% of our starters in the money. You can compare these numbers to some of the more well known partnerships that price gouge their customers, and you'll see our percentages compare very favorably.
- 3 We have experience. The Thorough Crowd team has been involved with racing our entire lives. We've worked with trainers, at Thoroughbred sales, for racetracks, etc.
- 4 In depth analysis informs every decision. We use a home built database filled with proprietary info on every horse in training, along with countless hours spent watching races and replays. This level of due diligence has led us to finding horses with untapped potential.
